Every time you submit a link to Geesh.com, we make a contribution to the environment.  After reading news story after news story, and hearing about this new program that lets you "offset" your CO2 contribution, we decided it was time to bring this to the web, via our links directory.  We believe we can make a huge contribution. 

Each featured link submitted to our directory will help offset 1200 kilograms (2640 pounds or 1.32 US tons) of CO2 each year.  If we have just 100 links in the directory, we'd offset more than  120,000KG / 132USTons of CO2 per year! 

We make our offsetting contributions once a month, on or near the 1st of the month.  These are documented on the sidebar of our homepage.  For our CO2 offsets, we are using Less.ca, a  Gold-standard CO2 off-setter.
